The cruise departs from the port of Argostoli on the traditional Greek wooden boat Christina, it takes about an hour of slow cruising along the coastline of Argostoli and Lassi to reach White Rocks beach, a stunning paradise hidden just south of the cosmopolitan beaches of Platys and Makris Gialos, the boat will anchor there and you will be able to enjoy the blue-green, crystal waters for about an hour! Then it’s off to the island of Vardiani or “Rabbit” another hour of swimming and a chance to explore on foot the remote islet with the lighthouse and a wreck of a famous Russian traditional boat!
Meanwhile the crew will prepare a wonderful meal on board with traditional Greek cuisine, plenty of freshly cut salad and complimentary wine! While everyone is boarding and enjoying lunch, the captain will take the anchors and we arrive at the last station of the day, Xi beach, located on the Paliki peninsula near Lixouri and famous for its red sand and natural clay beach facing the rocks on the beach. You can use this clay for a rejuvenating clay treatment that will make you look and feel 10 years younger! Another hour there for swimming and fun at the beach!
Then we start our cruise back to the port of Argostoli, on the way back the captain will sail us gently to picturesque places while you can enjoy the open bar and the nice music that Christina can offer you! And who knows, you might be lucky enough to spot some dolphins on the way back, they are known to swim in the Argostoli Bay area!

White Rocks Beach
Blue-green, crystal clear waters beneath the giant limestone white rocks, with white sand, which gives you the impression that you are on a tropical island. The fairytale beach of White Rocks is located in the area of Lassi in Kefalonia and has access only from the sea. Beautiful beach only accessible by boat. The water is so clear and the beach so white it’s like a paradise. Snorkeling is great too.
Vardiani Island
The Vardiani island is located at the south of peninsula of Palliki, at the entrance of the bay of Livadi. It consists of an elongated part to the east and wider at westward. In one version, the name is of Latin origin, from Italian vardia or guardiano meaning guardian. In others, it is named after the surname of some of their owners. In 1824 a magnificent lighthouse was built in the middle of the island, under the command of the English Charles Napier.
Xi Beach
What makes Xi beach in Lixouri, a unique place in Kefalonia island, is the strange color of the sand that is completely red. The beach is made of fine sand with an amazing clear sea that is never too deep, also several meters far from the coast. Xi bay is divided into two different parts; one more wild and relaxing, and the other one more organized for the tourism with deck chairs, umbrellas and traditional Greek restaurants. The feature of that beach is the sand’s reddish color. Also, the day display in the beach offers the opportunity for a free spa.
